During this work we have combined both photographic composition and a linear story. In it we can see the development of the compositional techniques and the story developed.

In the first photograph, we can clearly see a rule of thirds, emphasising the person cooking, and maintaining the proportions of the rule of thirds for its composition. We can also see the use of the golden ratio in its composition, focusing, as we have said, on the person.

In the second photograph, use the resource of the gaze. The law of the gaze is based on leaving enough space in which our model is looking, no matter if this space means nothing in the photograph or even if it is an out-of-focus background. By doing this we make the viewer intrigued to know what the model is looking at. In this way, we can see how in this case, the killer's gaze guides our attention to the person cooking, thus achieving its purpose.

In the third picture, we can see how we use lines as a compositional resource. The lines guide our gaze towards the course, all the compositional lines in this image guide in this sense. Both the lines of the furniture and, for example, the line formed by the kidnapper's arm holding the knife, point towards the person.
In addition, we can see how the killer's arm forms a curve, making this a dynamic image, and continuing the pattern of drawing attention to the victim.

In the fourth photograph, we can see how the resource used is symmetry. We can see how the knife, the back and the body form a symmetrical composition, as if it were a mirror.

Finally, in the fifth photograph, we can see the murdered person at the end of the corridor that forms the kitchen. The corridor, with the tables and chairs, forms a vanishing point, guiding our gaze towards this point and creating this composition.
